Elmwood Strip

Elmwood Strip in Buffalo is an eccentric bohemian neighborhood dotted with a variety of cafes, antique shops, bookstores, nightclubs, unique restaraunts, art galleries, and shops that are frequented by both Buffalo residents as well as students attending nearby Buffalo State. Since it is Buffalo, there are also a ton of bars. Along the strip, chain stores are rare, and you are certain to find something unique when shopping on Elmwood Strip in Buffalo. The mile-long strip as well as many of the roads crossing Elmwood are lined with gorgeous Victorian houses and buildings, many of which still boast their original leaded glass windows and wooden embellishments.
