One of the best things to do in and around the Buffalo area is go out for a nice meal. There are many different restaurants to choose from. The variety of cuisine is something you would expect from a moderate sized city, the quality is something you would not. One of the best areas to find a good collection of restaurants is North Buffalo. It has everything from fine Italian to East Asian.

For Italian food there are two restaurants that stand out. Amici's is one of the best family style Italian places you can find. They make the best baked dishes in the city with the lasagna and chicken parmesan being two of the favorites. In addition they have a number of high quality specials and other dishes to choose from. For a little bit more money, Sinatra's Trilogy is a great restaurant to go to when you are looking to be a bit more formal. Either of these two is sure to scratch that Italian itch if you have it.

In a totally different direction is the South East Asian food of Saigon Bangkok. They have both Vietnamese and Thai food on their menu. From traditional soups and drinks to the red curry dishes, everything is authentic and delicious. Get their early though as the restaurant is small and will fill up quick. There are many other places to try out though if you can not find a table.
