Join Us for a Taste of Buffalo Homebrew Competition
Event Details
The Taste is throwing a 35th birthday party and we need beer to celebrate! Submit your best easy-drinking, summery brew. Winning recipe to be brewed by 12 Gates and served at the 2018 Taste of Buffalo this July.
Win other great prizes including Taste of Buffalo food tickets and pint glasses!
Entries accepted January 2-20, 2018. Cost per entry $5.
Judging will take place on Saturday, January 28 – closed to the public.
Beginning January 2, entries accepted during regular business hours at 12 Gates Brewing Company, 80 Earhart Dr., Williamsville, Niagara Tradition Homebrewing Supplies, 1296 Sheridan Dr., Buffalo, and Hamm & Fattey's Beer Company, 284 Buffalo St., Hamburg. Check with individual locations for hours.
Accepted beer styles include Cream Ale, American Wheat Beer, Kolsch, California Common, German Pils, Weissbier, Witbier, Saison, Gose, Berlinerweisse, American Blonde Ale, American Pale Ale, American/White/Belgian IPA (session strength only), and others. Registration opens January 2 but all rules, styles, and other information is now posted here: https://www.homebrewtasteofbuffalo.com.
