Event Details

Cold nights are perfect for observing brilliant celestial objects. Come learn what to observe in buffalo's sky as we head out of winter!

Join us for our entirely live seasonal sky tour, exploring the current night sky sights as our days grow longer. While the days are still quite cold, the constellation Orion continues to dominate the night sky, and our celestial visitor, the so-called ‘green comet’, heads now away from earth. Let our planetarium educator share with you the highlights of our late-winter sky using our amazing projectors and tarball! This interactive planetarium experience is the perfect way to explore your winter night sky!

This program is presented on Saturday evenings at 7 pm from February 11 to march 18.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before show time, because late arrivals may not be seated for safety reasons in our darkened planetarium.

If you are not already familiar with the location of the planetarium, please be sure to understand our location using the map here on Eventbrite or here: planetarium location in google maps for our public programs, you will be able to park in the I-37 parking lot off of Iroquois drive.
