The big public event here is of course the Niagara Falls New Years Eve party in Queen Victoria Park, set against the spectacular backdrop of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls.
The live performers for this year's event have yet to be announced.
This free public event gets underway at 7 pm and provides live music and entertainment with the Niagara Falls New Years concert taking place throughout the evening, leading up the spectacular huge fireworks display at midnight, launched from the Niagara Gorge and viewable for miles around.
